Key takeaways

How getting a ticket works now, in order

Five tiers of access, ranked by effort and seat likelihood.

The tour sold out in days, but Ticketmaster holds and late releases appear without announcement. Verified Resale has been active since shortly after the on-sale. Silver Star pairs drop closer to each show. Start with the live Ticketmaster listings and work down from there.

  1. Check live Ticketmaster — Production holds and surprise drops go straight into the standard listings without a press release. Refresh regularly if you’re hunting a specific date.
  2. Browse official Verified Resale — Fans resell tickets inside Ticketmaster itself; your barcode is reissued if you win a listing. It’s the safe resale path, and prices change daily.
  3. Wait for the Silver Star pair drop — Limited $20-per-ticket pairs, sold only in twos, released at a date TBA closer to each show. Seats are assigned by the venue at box-office pickup and can be anywhere.
  4. Watch for last-minute releases — The week of show, final production holds occasionally surface. These are rare but not impossible.
  5. What to never do — Do not buy from DMs, screenshot tickets, or street brokers promising to ‘hold’ a seat. That’s how you lose money.

      The Unraveled Tour, explained

I’ve queued for Olivia’s tours since the SOUR club dates. I sat through the GUTS World Tour three times in two countries and kept a spreadsheet of every on-sale I’ve ever run. When Unraveled opened for on-sale on May 7, 2026, I was there — and it sold out in hours. Every date, including 25 shows added May 5–7 to meet demand, gone within days. But I also know that sold out doesn’t mean done. Here’s what I’ve learned about how to actually get in.

The album, the tour, and the timeline

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, her third album, dropped June 12, 2026 on Geffen. The lead single, “Drop Dead,” came out April 17. She announced the Unraveled Tour on April 30 — 86 shows from September 25, 2026 (Hartford) to May 10, 2027 (London). North America runs September through February, with January and February built as residencies in Los Angeles and New York. Europe follows March through May.

The on-sale itself came down to registration. American Express got first crack May 5. General on-sale was May 7 through a registration system, and that’s where the cascade happened. Ticketmaster says every date sold out within days. Her team confirmed the full sell-out on May 8. No tickets left at face value. None.

Fixed pricing — the fact that changes everything

Here’s what set Unraveled apart before the first note: Rodrigo refused dynamic pricing. On every other major tour, Ticketmaster charges surge pricing, jacking up the cost during peak demand. On the GUTS tour I saw in 2024, the same seat changed prices hour by hour. Not here. Ticketmaster published the face values and locked them: roughly $80–$250 upper bowl, $250–$700 lower bowl, $250+ floor, $500–$600 VIP. Those prices held through presale and on-sale. No changes.

That fixed band is now your anchor point for evaluating every resale listing you see. A lower-bowl seat originally $450 can resell for $800 or $300 depending on demand and how close you are to show day. You can judge whether you’re getting a deal or getting taken. It’s the one piece of honesty in a resale market that can be ruthless.

What you can still do: four paths that are real

Sold out doesn’t close all the doors. I’ve run the numbers and I’ve sat through enough on-sales to know what actually happens after the initial 48 hours. The first: production holds. Every arena sets aside a small number of seats for accessibility, crew, staff, sponsors, and last-minute press. Some of those bubble back to Ticketmaster without announcement. They don’t get a press release. They just appear in the widget and they’re gone. I’ve watched it happen. Refresh regularly if you’re hunting a specific date.

Second is Verified Resale. It opened shortly after the on-sale and it’s been active ever since. Fans who got tickets and can’t go are selling through Ticketmaster itself. Your barcode is reissued if you win a listing — there’s no screenshot risk, no “the seller backed out” nightmare. It’s fan-to-fan and legitimate. Prices swing daily. The best-kept secret: prices usually dip Thursday through Sunday, spike Monday and Tuesday as people book impulsively, and dip again closer to show day as stress sellers dump tickets the week-of.

Third is the Silver Star program. Limited $20-per-ticket pairs, sold only in twos, released at a date TBA closer to each show — probably a few weeks out. The seats are assigned by the venue at day-of-show box-office pickup. They can be anywhere: floor, lower bowl, nosebleeds, doesn’t matter. The point is the price, not the view. I caught four Silver Star pairs on GUTS. One was sixth row. One was back of house. Lottery is real, but $40 for two tickets — even if you’re in the rafters — beats paying resale.

Fourth: surprise drops the week of the show. Rare, but real. Final production holds surface sometimes three or four days before doors. These are bottom-of-the-barrel seats most of the time, but they’re real tickets at face value. Worth checking if you’re down to the wire.

What you never do: DMs, screenshot tickets, street brokers promising to “hold” a seat. I’ve seen fans get scammed out of hundreds. Ticketmaster is the only source.

      Residencies change the math

If you’re in Los Angeles or New York, the residencies are your friend. Nine shows each — nine chances if you miss the first sale or wait to see if Silver Star drops low. The odds of catching at least one is higher than a typical single-night city. If you’re traveling to one, you still face the same ticket hunt. But you’ve got a window instead of a moment.

London is the outlier: eight shows split across April 5–15 and May 9–10. The May 9–10 finale closes the entire tour. That’s the last two nights of the whole run. If you’ve been following her since SOUR, that’s worth thinking about.

      The reset for September

The tour opens September 25, 2026 in Hartford. That’s opening night of the entire run. Opening nights sell fast but production holds sometimes surface the day before or day-of as stage crews finalize the build. I’ve seen it. Not often, but I’ve seen it.

Here’s the honest line: if you want a ticket, start with Ticketmaster listings now. Refresh daily. Sign up for Verified Resale alerts if Ticketmaster offers them. When Silver Star dates drop, be ready immediately — they go in minutes. Don’t pay wildly above face unless it’s a date you absolutely can’t miss. And don’t give money to anyone who isn’t Ticketmaster.

The tour is coming. Seats exist. The paths are narrow but they’re real.

      Frequently asked questions

Is the Unraveled Tour sold out?

Every show sold out within days of the May 7, 2026 on-sale, including 25 dates added for demand. But sold out doesn’t mean gone: live Ticketmaster listings, Verified Resale, and Silver Star pairs remain the four paths in.

How much are Unraveled Tour tickets?

Face values ranged roughly $80–$700 depending on seat location; Rodrigo refused dynamic pricing, so no surge fees. See the full price breakdown by seat class. Resale prices float above and below face value daily.

Why did Olivia Rodrigo release $20 Silver Star tickets?

The Silver Star program started on her 2024 GUTS World Tour and runs on every Unraveled show. Limited pairs per show, released later, seats assigned by the venue and revealed at day-of pickup. It’s the honest price-floor program.

Can a 14-year-old go to an Unraveled Tour show?

Venue rules vary by arena, not tour. Most US arenas require kids aged 14 and under to be accompanied by an adult 18+. Check your specific venue’s policy on its website.

How long is an Unraveled Tour concert?

Exact setlist and runtimes are unconfirmed until opening night (September 25, 2026). Based on her GUTS World Tour and the new album, expect a full arena production with material from all three albums. See what to expect.

Who is opening for Olivia Rodrigo on the Unraveled Tour?

Wolf Alice opens most North American dates. Devon Again appears on select US shows. The Last Dinner Party supports the Inglewood residency. Grace Ives opens the European leg. Full opening-act breakdown by leg.

      Is Ticketmaster Verified Resale safe?

Verified Resale is fan-to-fan resale inside Ticketmaster itself. Your barcode is reissued if you win a listing, making it the safe alternative to street brokers and DM sellers. How Verified Resale works and when prices dip.

      Is there a London residency?

Yes. The O2 Arena, London, Apr 5–15 and May 9–10, 2027 (8 shows total). The May 9–10 finale closes the entire tour. London tour dates and details.
